Sunday Stills-The Color Purple

This lone purple Petunia is blooming in the debree of the demolished porch.

The flower was never planted.

It just grew up from a wayward seed that must have fallen under the porch last year.

Pretty color.

Makes me think of my lost herb garden in the wash tub.

No herbs came up this year so I let it go. The other day I decided to pull the weeds. Soon I noticed my hands smelled like thyme. Oh oh. Herbs did come up, unnatended. And ruined them!

Plants are pretty determined to survive. Like your petunia.

Pretty!
I love volunteer plants.
This year I have volunteer birdhouse gourd plants, cucumber plants and a tomato plant.
