Fluffless

This is Fluffy.
She just got her annual hair cut. She is a Collie cross, so normally has a body full of fluffy hair. When she was a pup, she looked like a little ball of fur with a nose. Hence, the name "fluffy"
The first time I got Fluffy's hair cut I didn't even recognize my dog when I went to pick her up.
We will have to call her Fluffless for awhile!

My New Chair

I have a thing for chairs. I just like them. Especially small chairs that I can place in random spots about the house.

It's nice to have a chair available when you feel like sitting to take a little break and perhaps reading a page, or a few chapters in your currant book.

I didn't even realize that I had this affliction until we moved from a large house into a small one and I had a huge stack of chairs in storage.

This is my latest find. I acquired it at a yard sale today for $25.00.

It's sturdy & in great shape. Isn't it adorable?

Beautiful Neighbor

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood,
a beautiful day for a neighbor.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?

Little Pony's

Aren't these cute little pony's? Down the road about a mile from our house lives a herd of pony's. Some of the mares are foaling now, so we get to see mamma's and baby's every time we drive past.

They remind me of some wall paper Mom bought & put up in the bathroom, in our log house on Cricket Flat. It had fat little pony's with little kids riding them around, going over jumps & things.

I think there is a picture around somewhere of my little brother Joshua taking a bath with that wallpaper in the back ground.

Joshua, aren't you glad I didn't post that picture?

Happy June!

Here are some flowers & herbs I have planted in pots on the front deck. Soon I will be able to snip off sprigs & add flavor to make tasty dish's.
June seems to be a month of new beginnings.
The whole Summer lies before you with bright new possibilities.
"Ones mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains it's original dimensions."
This is the first year in quite a few that I have had a garden spot. I've got potatoes, onions & radishes popping their heads out of the ground.
We have also been doing some landscaping, and planting bushes & tree's.
What new projects are you doing this Summer? I would love to hear about them & get some new idea's!
