The Old & The New

We took a trip to Montana This weekend.
While driving out thru some old farms & ranches we saw quite a few old windmills. The ranchers had them out in different places & used them to pump water for livestock.
After exploring some of the old country, we got on the highway & headed north to Lewistown. As we came up over the horizon, there loomed giant, modern windmills.
They are spectacular, huge, white beasts, rising out of the landscape.
Isn't it fantastic that we can produce electricity this way!

I love the old windmills. I'm sure the new ones are more efficient, though. Love to see your updates.

There's just something that draws us to those old windmills, isn't there? In the gorge, those new one's pop up on both the Oregon and Washington sides. Pretty interesting to see how many of them there are.
Hope you had a fun trip!
My neice is so beautiful!!
