October is here and the Great Pumpkin is rising out of the pumpkin patch.
Linus: On Halloween night the Great Pumpkin will rise out of the pumpkin patch.
He flies through the air and brings toys to all the children of the world.
Each year The Great Pumpkin rises out of the pumpkin patch that he thinks is the most sincere. He's got to pick this one. He's got to. I don't see how a pumpkin patch can be more sincere than this one. You can look around and there is not a sign of hypocrisy. Nothing but sincerity as far as the eye can see.
Yes, I have planted a row of pumpkins again this year. They have grown, spread and produced some huge pumpkins. I'm sure I haven't enough strength to lift these gigantic pumpkins out of the garden. My practical husband says no more pumpkins.
I have told him I am a witch and need my pumpkins. I have promised to plant smaller ones next year. Something I can pick up and tote around instead of these huge monsters.

You have to have pumpkins - a garden just wouldn't be complete without them! The bigger the better, too!!!! Guess you'd better start lifting weights in anticipation of next year's crop. :)

We didn't plant ones this year but we had volunteer ones and did get a couple! What is halloween without them :)
That's one of my favorite cartoons!
Congrats on those huge pumpkins.
I planted some this year but the drought overtook them before they could produce anything.**sigh**
Tell him not to be a darn pumpkin party-pooper! I plan to grow a GIANT one in a few years to put into a giant pumpkin contest. And Willie has a couple of machines that can move those pumpkins. I've seen them!
