The Time Traveler's Wife

This months "Turn the page Tuesday" is a book the was recommended through blogging.
I have picked "The Time Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger
I see there is a movie coming out of this book.
It's a book that keeps you guessing. Henry travels through time. You never know when or where he will pop up next.
A most untraditional love story, this is the celebrated tale of Henry DeTamble, a dashing, adventuresome librarian who involuntarily travels through time, and Clare Abashire, an artist whose life takes a natural sequential course. Henry and Clare's passionate affair endures across a sea of time and captures them in an impossibly romantic trap that tests the strength of fate and basks in the bonds of love.

The time will come
When, with elation,
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own mirror,
and each will smile at the other's welcome.
and say, sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you
all your life, whom you ignored
for another, who knows you by heart.
Take down the love letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs, the desperate notes,
peel your own image from the mirror.
sit. feast on your life.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I read the book. Pretty cool twist to the time-traveling at the end. :)

This is the best book ever! Mde me cry. The film is good but told from a slightly different angle and misses bits of fabulous stuff out. Of course the book is much better, but both are good.
