Here is the blanket Dawn made from towels she bought at the thrift store.
she sewed soft fluffy material on the back, so it's warm & comfy.
On a different note:
My sister Paula & I used to find an odd word in the dictionary and use it for a week.
I think rubbish will be my new word this week.
Don't you think rubbish is a funny word? It sounds so European. Much fancier then saying
garbage.
"Oh, what a bunch of rubbish."
Help me out here. Give me your idea for using the word rubbish in a sentence.

Your daughter did a beautiful job on the blanket!

I might not give best answer about rubbish. Ha ha ha. It brings to mind how much it costs to have it removed. See? It does sound a bit British...I agree.

Have a great weekend.

I love Dawn's blanket and I love that she used thrifted towels to make it. Very cool!

It's complete RUBBISH that my vacation week is coming to an end!

I think it's a great idea for Dawn to recycle those towels instead of throwing them out with the rubbish.

Stacey,

I dropped over to connect you with Denise, but see she's already taken care of it.

Thanks so much for participating in the Christmas book swap again this year. Last years was so much fun and it will be again this year. I'm thankful we can do this each year.

If you have any problems or concerns, please contact me.

I absolutely LOVE the blanket Dawn made with the towels from the thrift shop. Very nice.

Blessings,
Mary
