Come on Over

You are all invited to my house for peach pie, tea, coffee and rousing conversation.
Lets get started.
I will ask a question and you answer it in a comment.
The next person will answer your question and ask one of their own.
My question is.
"What is the most incredible weather event you've ever been through in your life?"

What fun! I have two - the first I don't remember but when we lived in Arkansas my mother had to rush us to the basement b/c of a tornado. The other was when we lived in Ohio (close to lake Erie) and we were snowed in for days. We cooked in the fireplace and slept in the living room by the fire. The front of our ranch home was covered by a snow drift and we had to get out via the back door. It was awesome. Doesn't take much to excite a 5 year old.

So ... for my question - What is your best-no-fail-crock-pot recipe?

You know, I don't really have a whole lot of crock pot recipes. Been looking for a few myself. But I do fix pot roast in the crock pot. It's delicious when it's cold outside.

My question........

Where and when did you go on your last vacation?

A tornado went right over out house in 1998. I can still hear it when I close my eyes. Terrifying.

My question.....

What is the best place you ever visited?

The best place I ever visited was Venice,Italy, specifically the glass blowers. Seeing the liquid glass turn into beautiful shapes, vases and animals was fascinating.
A Question.......what experience has moved you the most?

Having my daughters (twins)-moved me and blessed me more than any other experience I've had.

My Question: What is your favorite thing about Fall?

(the pie looks so yummy)

Everything is my favorite about fall! The smell of the crisp autumn air, the colorful crunchy leaves under my feet, golden pumpkins on front porches, sweater weather, and the food. Mmmm... the food - pumpkin pie, cranberries, squash, stews and soups.

My question:
What is your favorite thing to do when you have downtime all to yourself?
