Meet Alfonzo

Alfonzo is a baby robin who has fallen out of a tree during tornado warnings.

Nest and all came blowing down landing kerplunck on the sidewalk below. Alfonzo was the only surviving chick out of three siblings.

We received a phone call, so rushed over to his rescue.

He has been cozy and warm in his polar fleece blankie and has been gobbling up scrambled eggs.

Oh my Alfonzo! Sweet little one ~ I cannot wait to see him fly the coop!

I hope Alfonzo does well.

I had no idea you could save a young bird.

I feel sad when I see them laying on the ground after a windstorm.

Have a great weekend!

So tiny! He's so big now. Amazing how fast they grow. Did you HAVE a tornado???
Are you the local bird lady? Is that why you got the phone call??
