Sunday Stills-Power Lines

This weeks Sunday Stills has got me thinking about power lines and how we are always trying to crop them out of our photo's and paintings.

Why not make them part of the art?

Now a days they are our life line, what keeps us connected and our modern world functioning, even with our wireless technology, we still need somewhere to plug in the batteries.

Perhaps in a futuristic world power lines will become obsolete. They could go the way of the steam engine and telegraph poles. People will gaze upon them and say to their grandchildren, "Back in my day power poles dotted our landscape."

Now that's what I'm talkin' about! I like your theory...I was starting to think I was the only one who doesn't mind the power lines! This is a really great shot!

I agree with the power poles. They do keep us connected. I very rarely even think about it being in my front yard.

Beautiful picture, even with the power pole and lines.
My Captain would be telling them how he used to climb them and about the time he fell from one....
