We just finished this garden fence yesterday. Planted potatoes, onions, carrots, raspberry's and strawberry's today.
Hopefully this fence will deter the deer and keep them from wrapping their lips around our tasty vegetables.

The chicks are doing great. They are getting rather feisty. We had to move them to the chicken house because they keep trying to fly out of their box. Yes, fly the coop as you might say.

Two new buffalo calves have arrived. Aren't they the cutest little things, but no snuggling allowed. The mama's are very protective & won't let you get to close to the babies. As the saying goes, don't get between a bear & her cub. I think a buffalo would be just as bad.

What kind our your chicks? They have neat markings.
Yeah, it's always a good feeling when you get the garden in.

I love the bisons... they are sooo cool... I can't wait to see them, and I am going to try to make every effort to come out this summer if possible.

I haven't gone so far as to put up a fence around the garden, but I feel it's coming.
One day, before I die, I'll have chickens again! Love them.
That is the first time I've ever seen buffalo in a pen. Cool!
I didn't know people kept them like cows.
