Lets go on vacation

Let's go on vacation. Anywhere you want to go. Price is no object. You can take this vacation any time any where. You don't have to pack your bags or disrupt schedules. Just get away in your mind.

Sometimes I travel to a sunny beach under a palm tree, azure waters, seagulls calling, soft warm sand on my tan bare feet.

Other times I go to a mountain meadow, wild flowers blooming in the green grass, clouds floating in the blue sky overhead, birds chirping in the nearby forest.

Once in awhile I travel back in time to visit my grandma and Grandpa in their brick house. It's summer time and I feel loved and cared for. Nothing to trouble my young mind. I play in the sprinklers with my siblings and cousins. The scent of blooming lilac's fills the air. There are games to play and trees to climb.

Where will you go for your day dream vacation?

I go on my dream vacation everytime I get into one of my books! I always wanted to take a vacation on a ranch and I hope to someday!

I would like to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house, please, and play with you in the sprinkler. Watch Grandma being silly standing on her head. Walk over to Bob's Market for a candy. Roast Grandpa's favorite big hot dogs over the fire when it gets dark and listen to the grown-ups giggle around the fire.

Sand, sunshine and surf, it doesn't matter where!

I will go to Grandma and Grandpa's house with you, too. And play with roly-polys in the dirt, the scent of the roses mingling with the lilacs, and watching bats swoop and dive and we finish our hot dogs and marshmallows by the fire. Or out to Rolly and Linda's to wander the woods hunting mushrooms in the squishy spring soil, or feeling the cold, cold air coming out of the ice caves on a hot sumer afternoon. Oh, so many more places I could come up with! Thanks for inviting the daydreams!!!
