Walk In The Woods

Our first frost has arrived. We covered the tomatoes &; peppers. Hopefully they will have a little more time to produce.
The leaves are starting to turn colors and look beautiful against the crisp blue sky. I just had to wander off into the woods for a picture taking expedition.

I met a pretty green frog.

A grasshopper tagged along for awhile.

Tally hoe. I must be on my way.
I hope you have a chance to get in a few good walks before the weather turns bitterly cold.

Wow, your first frost! Our daytime highs are in the low 90's still. First frost is usually around Nov. 15 here in Georgia. You have shared some lovely photos. I love to be outside this time of the year. Hope you have a great week.

Our first frost isn't until mid Oct here in VA - we've still got some good outdoor time left (I hope!). Great pics - I need to get out with my camera.

The good thing about the first frost, is that it starts to turn everything the beautiful colors of fall. I love that crispness in the air and we really love to meet your froggy friend.

Did Joshua come out?

Well Stacey, I'm between Mildred and Adrienne...in SC. Our first frost won't be until somewhere around the end of October.
The leaves are changing a little around here, but because of lack of water. We have had one rain shower in 2 months. And it didn't last an hour.
The temps are in the 90's still here, we are setting records.
We missed spring and went straight to summer, I'm beginning to believe we're gonna miss fall and go straight into winter.
Imagine that, instead of four seasons, we'll be having only two.
Strange weather this year.
Love that frog. I don't think I've seen one like that before.
