I am from picnics and laughter, from Tom & Janice's country home and Leoma & Rolin's hardware store and Al & Shirly's fishing boat.

From "You've got to get up early to get ahead of me" and "Shine your light on everyone."

I am from Youth group.

I'm from Lagrande Oregon, England, hand churned butter & chocolate chip cookies.

From the horse thief who was hanged, the singer, and trhe bird lover.

I am from ghost story's told around the kitchen table & kept in priceless memories.

The Sun will come out Tomorrow

The sun'll come out tomorrow. Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow there'll be sun! Just thinkin about tomorrow clears away the cobwebs and sorrow.

This little tune from "Annie" has been going thru my head this morning.

We did need & want rain. Infact we got to make a fast trip to Oregon, since we didn't have to irrigate this weekend, but this is a little ridiculous! It started raining on Wednesday & has been raining for six days. This is very unusual for our dry arid climate. The cows Field is a soggy mess.

The forecast says 70's are coming, starting tomorrow. That should make my garden grow!

Family of Fox's

A Momma fox & her four kits have made a home in our haystack.

I snuck up by the fence & got to watch them & snap some pictures.

Get Along little doggie's

We branded caulfs Sunday.

I forgot my camera durring the caulf part, byt remembered it after lunch & got some pictures working the cows.

It's a Miracle!

Look at this little chick. I found it sprawled out in the food dish.

It had hopped in to get a tasty morsel & couldn't get back out again. I don't know how long the tiny little chick lay there, but it got too cold & when I found it I was sure it was dead.

I had laid it on top of the nest box & did a few things in the chicken coop, when I saw his beak open, so I put the chick in my cupped hands to try to warm it up. Then I took it to the warm house & placed it on a towel in the sunshine.

The baby chick recovered in a box with a heat lamp warming up it's fuzzy body.

Dawn named him little guy. Now he is back safe & sound with his mom & siblings.
